Summer STEM Camps at UT Austin

UTeach Outreach – College of Natural Sciences holds a variety of summer STEM programs on campus for current 3rd-9th graders, and registration is already open! 3rd & 4th graders can learn chemistry through hands-on lab experiences in Chemistry Camp. 5th and 6th grade scientists can explore research labs at UT during the Research in Life Sciences Camp. Meanwhile, 7th graders can master vital physics and math skills in our Physics & Math Camp, while 8th graders can complete their own independent inquiry in a UT research lab in Research & Statistics Camp. 9th graders can build their own computer engineering projects during our Engineering & Computer Science Camp.


Registration for the UT PREP 1 program opened on January 29th for current 6th or 7th graders interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This five-week academic program allows students to explore campus, interact with industry professionals, take field trips, and tour research labs. If they’re a public school student in Texas, it may also even allow them to earn a high school credit. Space is limited and spots are filling fast.
