Austin International School

Come join us on an exciting adventure as we explore The Great Outdoors. In June, we will unravel mysteries and become Nature Detectives; we will learn all about the three Rs as we work towards Keeping Austin Green; and then we’ll head outdoors and have Fun in the Sun. In July, we will learn all about Wacky Weather, we’ll explore various ways we grow with the world around us in Watch Us Grow, and finally we’ll have fun with water as we Make a Splash.

Austin Yacht Club

AYC Summer Camps teach children the love of sailing in a safe and fun environment! Our Junior Sailing Camp is a week long program for kids ages 8-16 and our PB&J Sailing Series caters to ages 4-10 on Saturday mornings. Both camps cover sailing basics, such as rigging, docking, and boathandling, with Junior Sailing Camp expanding on these into windsurfing and racing. Please call if you have any questions about which camp is best for your sailor!

Austin Zoo

Our summer program philosophy is to get your child excited about nature and science through using Austin Zoo as an outdoor living classroom and it is an opportunity for your child to take risks, try new activities and to make new friends who have similar interests. Kids will meet live animals, conduct science experiments, play games and create crafts related to specific biology and environmental science themes.

Girl Scouts

We are proud to offer multiple day and resident camps with a wide variety of programming and camping options. Campers may attend sessions that cater to their special interests, or try something completely new! Kidventure Overnight Camp

Named Texas’ Best Overnight Camp for 3 years in a row, Kidventure’s Overnight Camps has been an experience like none other. Now, we’ve expanded our offerings and will be serving our families and their kids from ages 8 to 18. Because the greatest lessons we learn at overnight camp are the ones we take with us for the rest of our lives. Welcome to Kidventure. Choose from Safari (ages 8-12), Echo (ages 13-16), and Apex (ages 17-18).

McKinney Roughs

Campers ages 5 to 15 discover the great outdoors at scenic McKinney Roughs Nature Park through exploration and recreation. Activities such as river rafting and zip lining are available to campers, as well as uncovering the native plant and animal species in the area. A convenient shuttle is available for all full-day camps just minutes from Austin.

Rio Vista

Horses, Horses, Horses. Our horse centered
weekly camps include Daily English riding
lessons, Daily horse care lessons and a Weekly
camp Horse Show. Afternoon rides take place
in our covered arena, with some afternoons
scheduled as cool-off time in the swimming
pool. Campers with prior riding experience
work on building their skills, while those new to
horses learn the basics of horsemanship taught
by experienced, professional instructors. Rio
Vista Farm offers year round top quality lessons
and training for all levels of riders on horses
or ponies. We offer instruction from beginner
riders to those competing across the nation.

Rock About Camp

Our day camps include 5 great days of climbing at Austin’s awesome area climbing destinations. This camp is 2 days at the Austin Greenbelt, as well as Reimer’s Ranch and 1 day at the great Enchanted Rock. The Enchanted Rock trip also includes going through the really neat cave and climbing. If adventure is what you’re looking for then you’ve found the right camp.

Rowing Camp

The Austin Rowing Club welcomes all middle school and high school students for a week of FUN on the water! Daily sessions include a variety of kayaking, small boat rowing, basic rowing technique, nature walks and lots of fun on the lake! Come on down this summer to learn more about rowing on Lade Bird Lake. The Austin Rowing Club also welcomes all athletes to join the ARC Coaches for a week to try the #1 College Recruited sport! Young athletes will learn the basic rowing technique, spend time in a variety of boats and gain knowledge about racing and training in the fastest growing sport. Join us this summer to test your fitness and gain new skills!

Sherwood Forest Fair

Campers will be transported back in time.
They experience creating useful tools, learn
new skills and participate in performance art
that was essential in the Renaissance. GREEN
campers (who have never attended our camp)
and all Sea Dragons (age 7-9) will follow the
Path of the Scholar where they learn a bit of
everything. VETERAN CAMPERS – who have
already attended at least one session – can
continue following the Path of the Scholar, or
if they are age 10+ they may select a specialist
path – receiving intensive instruction in weekly
specialist classes. NEW CAMPERS attending
multiple weeks follow the Path of the Scholar
their first week and then choose (at the time
of booking) to continue as a Scholar or to
specialize for subsequent week (s). Sleeping
options include choosing the castle or “rough
it” in an air conditioned pavilion tent.

Texas Tech

This summer, give your kids a combination of Learning and Adventure. During their week stay, activities include: Learning about water quality, wildlife, birds, and plants; Identifying stars; Shooting Archery, Fishing, Aging a Tree, Kayaking, and Low Ropes to build self-esteem through Teamwork. This camp combines STEM learning in the outdoors with traditional camp activities. Not only is it FUN, they will be better prepared for the upcoming school year.

The Pines Catholic Camp

The Pines Catholic Camp is the premiere Catholic camping experience in the Southwest! We host a traditional summer camp experience for 2nd-12th graders where campers choose their activities, which include our ropes course, our lake activities, sports, and more. We are authentically Catholic, and we also host Mass, adoration, men’s and women’s sessions, and more. We have staff, speakers, and musicians from all over the country waiting to spend a week with you!
